As vice president carbon in bp, Andy heads up the carbon discipline in bp, providing integration and technical expertise across bp operating businesses. Andy is passionate about bringing bp Net Zero Carbon strategy to life, driving decarbonised operations, cutting methane, and integrating carbon management into systematic ways of working and organisational culture. This role builds upon a background in Environmental Science and 20 years in Health, Safety and Sustainability leadership roles, supporting major capital projects and operations around the globe. Andy believes that it’s important that greening companies like bp set out a clear pathway to Net Zero underpinning bp’s ambition to be a net zero company by 2050 or sooner, and to help the world get to net zero.
